First let's start with the “lord's prayer” which I modified, to get us in the mood for this book

I feel I should explain the deep spiritual metaphysics which will play a big part in my story. I mean what is a reincarnted angel, what is spiritual oneness???  
So...
In the beginning, there was a sea of awareness,
there was no creation yet, no time, no space, just is-ness... only one being, there was no other... yet no loneliness, only innosence and purity and creative potential... and in this awareness arose many thoughts, some call this the causal planes... there were thoughts about everything, from the spectrum of colors, to the directions of up and down, to suffering and bliss, to duality and souls... Let's call this awareness GOD. So God naturally wanted to explore these thoughts, because how could you understand them unless you create and experience them and God understood that it had this ability... God had no idea at this point how bad say a Holocaust would be on earth, or torture, or disease or great pain or whatever... so from it's perspective it would make sense to taste the waters, and just create everything it could possibly create, BE ALL IT COULD BE! I guess you could call this curiosity the orginal sin or orginal mistake. The curiosity born out of ignorance is the reason why suffering continues in existence. Before God created the experitial universes, it created souls, individual love beings that were seperate from God to a certain degree, yet connected of course, in a way little indivudal pieces of God that could look back at God, and make choices from an individual perspective about what to do with it's creative power. These souls were the offspring and children of God. God decided then to have the children have the power of creation and choice afterall why not? God didn't even consider that these souls might make the wrong decision, all this born out of the orginal sin of curiousity... the souls were told to create and explore the experitial universes but to never forget GOD and to eventually return to God with the experiences... God loved his children. For ultimately they were GOD, and all is one. And no matter how convincing the illussions of creation are, the absolute truth cannot be wiped away. The truth of oneness must, rather will return everything to that truth in full realization... no matter how long it takes. For on some level is exists already in everything, at the center of every soul.
So in a flash from soul land, all time and space, past present and future was created in an everchanging multiverse within a matrix of duality, up and down, near and far, bliss and suffering, pain and pleasure, this and that... Souls inhabited the creation, created spirits and others souls, everything even the roughest material universe we know as our own, every part of it had consciousness in it, living it out as it. The immensity of it, the hugeness and variety of it, born out of that orignal curiousity. Keep it mind I am using human semantics to describes processes that are so beyond what words can explain as you read on.
 
Once all this was set into motion... It was kind of hard to just end the duality matrix, even though this seemed like the only sane solution because once God had felt all the suffering for it was aware of everything even in the ever-new bliss of transendence, God understood it was an error in the system, a glitch in the matrix and liberation was the only answer. God is good, God would never allow any being   suffer for even a milisecond. God is not some kid with a magnifying glass burning his creation and laughing about it. God is love, One love. How could you think otherwise when you see GOD is all there is. Since God gave power of God to the souls this was no easy task. God is good and doing it's best to bring nirvanic oneness to all of it's creation, and return all souls, all spirits, all consciousness to the source, to never suffer again. Call it readiness, call it the process, call it a limit to God's power, whatever you call it... Time must heal all wounds. It can't just all happen, without a process, or at least God hasn't yet discovered how to do this. I mean ask youself, if you think God is all powerful, can God create a rock that even God could not lift? We must grow to understand God more. The goodness of God... that ignorance is the problem, ignorance you can blame... God is the solution not the problem. Not as John Lennon said, “A concept to measure our own pain” He probably wrote that when he was in a real bad mood, for he was a deeply spiritual being... look at imagine, look at the song instant karma, mind games, all you need is love, I am the walrus... anyway, let's not get sidetracked.
Now, in the heavenly planes, which could be describe as beyond ordinary time and space, a much more playful kind of time and space, like a really vivid intense dream you might have had that was so incredibly beautiful that is felt “real,” that may help you with this understanding. In this heaven, a million years can seem like a second, a second can seem like a million years, time travel, observations of time from beginning to end in all universes, as is wiggles and changes, because of consciousness liberating into oneness. All these things are ordinary on the heavenly planes. These planes are full of ever-new bliss and infnite beautiful fun experiences. Two souls incarnated as angelic beings on one such heavenly plane of consciousness. This plane was linked to a small planet in the milky way galaxy known as Earth... The angel beings sometimes looked simular to human forms except glowing in light, but they could change form. These angels understood to a degree all is One being, but kept enough of veil of seperation for the sake of not just heavenly play but bringing all beings back into GOD. This is simular to the bodhisattva beings, except the vow is not as extreme. Two of the angels become very close and there was millions of years of play in which these angels manifested as “romantic” type lovers I guess is the best human way to describe, always keeping the One Love, God, first. Not that these angels didn't interact with other angels or beings, there veil allowed in a playful way a “special” closeness.   This was honored by them even in the truth of oneness that they bathed in. I know this sounds paradocial but try to get beyond your rational mind, and consider that I may be speaking truth from a place of inner mystical knowledge. These angels had great compassion and after observing earth, they saw they had a choice, Go into the void of GOD and bathe in nirvana forever, or incarnate for several lives on earth which would reduce the karma of many souls on earth, and bring back more soul and spirit consciousness to GOD. The angels knew it would be serious, painful, that many of these lives would contain heavy karma, and only the last life would become an easy enjoyable stairway back to heaven to a degree... These angels knew it would take a lot of courage, and there would be many many times on earth when they would totally forget God, their angel mission and the suffering would seem to last forever. The angels made the choice of incarnations on earth...  Why? For the same reason a fireman rushes into a burning building to save a human life. The following is some of the story of one of these courageous angels, Eric whose tale of mental illness and spiritually show us how the two are interrelated. You can't deny spirituality but you can't deny mental illness, the so caled chemical imbalance in his brain. This is the story of this angel's last life before returning to heaven and then nirvana with his  angel partner, Elise sunshine. Eric has what doctors have called bipolar illness, but also a powerful legitimate spiritual awakening alongside the illness.
